Reading and Spelling – Week of February 13-17

 

This week we are reading the stories “The Dot” and “A Great Artist and His Dots.”  Please practice our word wall words and spelling words at home with your child this week.   Also, in the boxes are three sentences for your child to read to you.

 

Word Wall Words:  colors, draw, drew, great, over, show, sign

 

Spelling Words:  eat, sea, each, team, please, dream, treat, beach, clean, lean, colors, sign

 

Challenge Word: artist

 

 

The skills we are working on this week are reading, writing, and spelling words with -ea sound and inflected ending and identifying and using adjectives that describe color and shape.
